Annotated photographs of
the North Norfolk coast
Field excursion 8 March, 2004

Photograph by Brad Pillans, March 2004
An illustrated record of a field excursion to the North Norfolk coast. Cambridge staff and students visited key sites documenting:
- Anglian ice advances from Scandinavia (North Sea Drift Formation), and
- underlying pre-Anglian interglacial and glacial sediments (Cromer Forest Bed Formation)
Because the exposures turned out to be spectacular, we decided to also share some annotated pictures zooming in on key details.
WARNING: PICTURES EACH ARE 200-300k
