Studying Quaternary Science in Cambridge


Opportunities for study of the Quaternary System in the University are available at both undergraduate and graduate level.

Graduate courses

M.Phil course

Members of the CQ are involved in a one-year Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) course. This course includes a series of lectures in the Michaelmas and Lent terms, and also requires the completion of a report on a research project in the final 3 months. PhD research

Opportunities to undertake PhD research in many aspects of Quaternary Science exist in each of the CQ host departments; information on topics, staff and funding opportunities can most easily be found from either departmental homepages, or from the individual research group pages ( link ).
