Opportunities for study of the Quaternary System in the University are available at both undergraduate and graduate level.
Members of the CQ are involved in a one-year Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) course. This course includes a series of lectures in the Michaelmas and Lent terms, and also requires the completion of a report on a research project in the final 3 months. Fully details of admission procedures and funding possibilities are available at:
General enquiries about graduate study are also available from the Board of Graduate Studies .
Opportunities to undertake PhD research in many aspects of Quaternary Science exist in each of the CQ host departments; information on topics, staff and funding opportunities can most easily be found from either departmental homepages, or from the individual research group pages ( link ).
